• Email address and password (hashed, never stored in plaintext)
• Bank account connection data via Plaid (access tokens encrypted with AES-256)
• Bank transaction history (used solely to detect gambling activity)
• Recovery data: streak, check-ins, journal entries
• Device identifiers for fraud prevention

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the Money Vault and gambling detection features
• To automatically detect gambling transactions and support recovery
• To process deposits and withdrawals via Stripe
• We do NOT sell your data to third parties
• We do NOT use your data for advertising

Data Sharing

We share data only with: Plaid (bank connection), Stripe (payments), and MongoDB Atlas (encrypted storage). All are SOC 2 certified.

Data Retention

Account data retained for life of account plus 90 days. Transaction data retained 24 months. Financial records retained 7 years for compliance. You may request deletion anytime.

Security

All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Sensitive data encrypted at rest (AES-256-CBC). Plaid tokens never stored in plaintext.
